Which mudra to use?

Let's tackle a deeper subject: the mudras! It is the position of the hands during a meditation session. First of all, the most important is the comfort! The position of your hands should be comfortable and should not distract you from your session. Experiment with the different postures that appeal to you and see which one you like best. Meditation and lithotherapy: is it compatible?

When we meditate, we can use certain processes from Indian Ayurvedic medicine, including the circulation of energy through its chakras. It is here that lithotherapy can act!

Are the chakras important for meditation?  

It is natural to expect the chakras to be the focus of a meditation session. They represent balance and inner strength, and that is exactly what we are looking for when we meditate.

Each chakra has a specific meaning and location:

How do I align my chakras?

You will understand that each stone can have a positive impact if it is placed on the concerned area. This mediation technique works very well if you lie down and place a rough, polished or bracelet-shaped stone on the area concerned. You can stimulate several chakra areas at the same time, but it is suggested that you go a little at a time to unblock the chakras that are giving you the most trouble. Place the stone on the area(s) and relax for your meditation session: the stones will help you to unlock all your energy!

Which stones for meditation?  

As we have seen, you can use the stones you need to meditate while taking care of your chakras. But when it comes to pure meditation, other stones are more precise and can help you enter a deeper meditative state. 

Citrine

Citrine is an excellent solar stone for reducing stress accumulated over time. It contributes to general well-being and helps to gain calm. During a meditation session, it will help to calm emotions and excess energy to quickly bring a state of well-being. How does a meditation session work?

Now let's get down to business! Get ready to experience your first meditation session with the stone you have chosen.  

Step 1

First of all, make yourself comfortable in the position you have chosen beforehand. Make sure you are in a quiet place and not disturbed. For a beginner, we recommend that you sit on a couch or bed, lying down with your palms facing the sky. The disconnection with your body will be easier, because you will not use as many muscles as when you are sitting. 

Step 2 

Once you have found your ideal position, you can start the serious business. Take the stone you have chosen to accompany you during your session. Place it on the chakra you wish to help, on your solar plexus or in your left hand. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth, taking time to connect with your surroundings. Once you feel more present in your space, close your eyes and regulate your breathing until it is more natural, more calm. Little by little, focus on the stone you have chosen. Picture its shape, its color, its energy. Feel all the positive energy it transmits to you. Imagine this energy as a light that penetrates you and goes through each member of your body. 

Stage 3  

This light sweeps away all negative energy in every part of your body. Feel this powerful energy flowing through you, sweeping away all negative energy, fears and emotional blockages within you. Many people imagine this light permeating every part of their body, much like the water you drink and feel travel through your body.
